A Fond Farewell By Suzi Baker McKenzie

I’m here today to say farewell, as the time has come for me to leave the Samantha K Design Team.
I’ve had the great pleasure and honour of being a DT Member for the last 18 months, so today I thought i’d share with you some of my favourite projects that I’ve created.
I love how the canvas above turned out, I used the Large Heart Flourish and Alphabet Letters.

I adore the Woodland Nature Stamp Set, such a wonderful versatile set of stamps, great sizes and excellent quality. I loved creating this canvas with them and embossing powders, then adding colour with Acrylic Inks and Paint Pens.

I had so much fun creating this plaque featuring some of the wonderful sea creatures and coral shapes. I used Acrylic Paints, Inktense Pencils, Paint Pens and Coloured Pencils to colour this underwater scene.

I had great fun creating this Blue and White inspired piece. The Branch with Swings, Hummingbirds and Grass MDF shapes are so detailed that they look wonderful just painted in one solid colour. I used patterned tissue paper and cheesecloth to add some texture to my background and contrast the wonderful MDF shapes.

The MDF Samantha uses is wonderful high quality MDF which takes lots of different mediums, and it brilliant to stamp and draw on. I love the Artist Palettes, so versatile.

These are just a few of my favorites. It’s been wonderful to work with such original quality products. Samantha and the rest of the Design Team Ladies are some of the nicest people around, it’s been truly wonderful working with them all. I will miss them all. Thank You for the opportunity to share my creations with you all.
