I used jute ribbon to wind around an mdf wreath shape adding an extra piece to hang and I tied a piece for a bow which attaches to the bottom.
I simply painted the mdf Holly leaves and berries with green and red acrylic paint.
Then I painted the number 25 and flourish.
The mini gingerbread man was painted brown acrylic with a red gem added and some white icing with a white posca pen and glitter.
Before using a glue gun to stick the elements in place I attached some sisal to add to the natural finish and a string bow to the top of the jute hanging piece.
