Sugar Plum Fairy by Bethany Coughlan

Sugar Plum Fairy by Bethany Coughlan

I thought I would share this beautiful Nutcracker Bauble with you. I particularly wanted to show it as my daughter Bethany, created it for my Mum as a little, “I love you”, gift, whilst Mum was in hospital. Bethany has cerebral palsy, which causes a tremor in her hands, but she coloured in this gorgeous sugar plum fairy, using polychromos and posca pens without any help!

I thought her colour scheme was beautiful, and my Mum was delighted with it.I think Bethany has done brilliantly (I am biased I know) and I think the baubles are definitely something that can be made by young or old, with or without hand tremors!

Sam sells them in sets of four showing each of the main characters in the Nutcracker story and also as a large single nutcracker plaque, which can be found HERE

Wishing all our American friends a Happy Thanksgiving
