On occasion I still remember to make friends and family cards and this was one of those occasions.
It was recently my husbands, long time friends’ birthday and he happens to be a Starwars fan like my hubby. So it just had to be a Starwars card that I made for him.
I managed to pull a photo of him from Facebook, but it was quite blurry when it was enlarged!
So my original plan to have his head on a Jedi body that pretty much took up the front of the card, was a no no, I had to find something where the people were much smaller, so that I could keep his head smaller, so it wasn’t blurry. I also didn’t want the card looking empty with a little tiny person on!
Then I stumbled across this ace picture of the ‘Jedi high council’ it meant I could nicely fill the front of the card, whilst keeping his head small enough that it wasn’t blurry.
Can you spot him?
I then realised I had no DL (although this was slightly larger) envelopes, so I dragged out my We R Memory keepers envelope maker, cleared off the layer of dust that had comfortably settled on it and set to sizing up an envelope for the card.
I made a special frame for him too, of which I am going to create a variation for the store, as soon as these are completed, I will share these and Deans birthday frame .
