Under the sea mdf

  1. I started by doodling my face on to the substrate and then adding details with my paints starting with watercolours and leaving each layer to dry.
  2. While the layers were drying I painted my sea creatures, shells and bubbles
  3. I continued to add layers until I was happy and tried adding purples and greens to her sea coloured hair to add extra depth.
  4. I built up her sea hair using gel pens, pencils, fabric and also added sea creatures with glossy accents to give a wet look.
  5. I added details into her face with gel pens and edged around my substrate to finish.
